Original WW2 German Afrika Korps tropical pith helmet maker marked JHS and dated 1942. Minor surface wear to the outside of the helmet, complete with the correct army national pins either side of the helmet. Some oxidation to the metal on the chinstrap which has been photographed. Inside the helmet the red felt remains in good condition with the original sweat band which is reasonably uncommon as it was removed due to it being uncomfortable in combat.
