WWI WWII ORIGINAL GERMAN LEATHER STRAP LANYARD FOR LUGER P. DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this original German WWI and WW2 leather strap lanyard for Luger pistol. This strap would be attached to the Lanyard ring on the back of the Luger, then to the strap worn over the shoulder, making it much easier to retain and never drop the firearm. This was commonly used with the P08, Artillery Luger, Luger Carbine and occasionally the P38 (narrowing the connecting tab required). Scarce and highly collectable item. German WWII items were destroyed at a great scale after the war by all participating countries. Most of our items come in original, boxed and unused condition since the war. Most of the German military and medical items that we own and currently sell are among the only left of its kind in the world.
