WWII ORIGINAL GERMAN LEATHER MAP CASE w/LUFTWAFFE MAP. DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this Very Rare original WWII German leather map case including an original Luftwaffe military map of Yugoslavia. The German invasion of Yugoslavia was done in a rush and apparently the map was prepared in such a way because some of the names are in German and some in Croatian. The original template was most likely provided to the Germans by their Croatian allies and the German map makers didnt have enough time to translate the names of all the small towns and villages.

There is even a short German Croatian dictionary on the side for easier orientation of the pilots. Some minor tears along the edges of the map. The case shows normal for age wear (see photos).

Case measures 10 x 7. Rare and highly collectable item. German WWII items were destroyed at a great scale after the war by all participating countries. Most of our items come in original, boxed and unused condition since the war. Most of the German military and medical items that we own and currently sell are among the only left of its kind in the world.
