Luftwaffe Roamer early WW2 German Miltary "D" DH Watch serviced & all original. It has a sub seconds hand. It has lumed arabic hour markers and syringe type hands. The lume on the dial is original.

The hands are original and have been relumed. The case has been cleaned. It has a stainless steel screw down case back.

The dial is crisp and clearly legible with light age related marks and has been lightly cleaned of loose dirt. The dial reads'Roamer Shockproof Swiss made'. This script is slightly faded with age but still visible. The movement has been fully stripped, cleaned, oiled and regulated. It has been demagnetised for good measure. The acrylic crystal appears to be original and has been polished (some light scratches remain but only really visible under magnification). A period black leather strap has been fitted with bund pad. The watch runs well and keeps time currently +10 sec/day on a bench test in 6 positions. This can vary but certainly within a minute per day or better. The case measures 30.4mm excluding the crown, 33mm with crown, 36.2mm lug to lug with a 16.4mm lug width. Signs of light wear, light scratches and loss of plating commensurate to age but nothing major and adds to the character of the watch and is still in good usable condition. I have owned this watch for about 3 years and during this time it has been serviced twice. Most of the Luftwaffe issue roamers seem to have the Brevet case however, this case type is quite rare. I never describe items as rare but over the years, I have only found 7 others referenced on the web and some of those were in very poor non-working condition. A serious collector's piece. Water resistance has not been tested.

Due to the age of the watch, I obviously cannot offer any guarantee of future performance. However, it has been thoroughly tested and is running with no issues. I'm reducing my watch collection of Smiths, J W Benson and other interesting vintage watches.
