Original but incomplete WWII German Feld Fu F radio

For sale is an incomplete but original WWII German Feld Fu F radio. This radio is missing its radio type and date of manufacture data plate, radio case, and the front and rear door panels.

It has three tubes: 1xRV2,4P700, 1xRL2,4P2 and 1xRL2,4T1. This radio was used by the Panzer Grenadiers and had a range of 2-3 kms.

It operated on a frequency of 28-33 mHz. It used a 1.2 meter steel blade antenna: the antenna base color was white.

The base for the antenna on the radio case was tilted rearward so it would clear the helmet of the soldier carrying the radio. It was powered by a 2.4 volt nickel cadmium battery stored in the back of the radio transport case. As you can see in the pictures this radio is missing almost all of its data plates. This radio also has two attachment points for headphones and one for a microphone.
