Very Rare Early Waffen-SS Double Decal M-34 Parade Style Helmet, untouched as found example retaining approximately 80% of the original green paint finish to the exterior shell. Some areas of surface rusting to the top and lower ridge of the shell. The helmet has original Waffen-SS decal applied to the side and the party decal shield to the other side. Helmet has its original M-34 pattern leather liner which is suffering with dry rot, four cork liner spacer pads remain to the interior. Some of the tongues are now damaged. Metal clip and very small section of the chinstrap remain. Shell has makers stamp to the inside. The helmet comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Ken Niewiarowicz, author of Germanys Combat Helmet 1933-45 by R James Bender Publishing, dated 28th May 2010. He states in the certificate that the decals are C.
