WWII ORIGINAL GERMAN WEHRMACHT MEDICAL SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS SET AESCULAP MINT. DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this Extremely Rare German WW2 medical surgical set of the well known and respected medical company AESCULAP. This is a portable set for the Lazarett field hospitals, suitable to be used in field conditions, at the battlefield. The set goes into a metal carrying container, with a typical German Red Cross emblem on the lid and handles on the side. Inside on the lid has the list of contents, printed in Gothic German letters. Case is with original feldgrau paint. In the container there are 3 trays, full of instruments for a great variety of surgical cases. There are slots with the outline of the instruments on the bottom of the trays. There are number of different scalpels, forceps, scissors, clamps, pincers, probes, silver Tracheotomy set, surgical razors, a mask for connecting to anesthetic gas system and a mask for dropping anesthesia, plus an amber color glass Chloroform bottle with German markings, there is also a sterilizing box with glass and brass syringes, a mouth opener, a box of surgical needles, needle holders, two boxes of surgical rubber pipes and stripes plus a great deal of other instruments, everything preserved in excellent original condition, made by the famous AESCULAP Company. This is a great set, a centerpiece for your collection. Extremely rare to find original, complete, large surgical set.
