100% Authentic WW2 German Helmet M42 Camo Camouflage Steel Helmet, Gorgeous

This is a very nice combat dog we are also letting go from the collection. It is an M42 with a gorgeous green camouflage that has at least two different shades of green.

The camouflage covers a an army Heer decal that is still visible through the paint, and interestingly with a second ghost decal faintly visible immediately next to it. There is a dent on the right side of the helmet, almost certainly due to a bullet or shrapnel strike, as these types of dents are consistent with that type of battle damage. This dent has slightly pushed the helmet inwards; giving it a slightly contorted look when looking at it head-on and at head level. Looks absolutely incredible on display and does not appear to have ever been in a collection.

Would make for a fantastic Christmas gift to the right history geek (including yourself) - this is a fantastic and affordable helmet that was absolutely used in combat areas.
