1932 German Photo Album, Franz Hofer, Gauleiter, WWII, Lausanne, Autographed. Exceedingly rare photo album from the library of Fanz Hofers, Gauleiter. Only one individual out ranked Hofer. In other words, he and a few other Gauleiters were the third most powerful. He was a confidant of Hitler. Met with Hitler 18 days before his suicide. The central section of the album has 20 pages, 68 sharp photos, of the dignitaries at the Lausanne Conference in 1932 that effectively ended Germany's reparations and war debt for WW I. With the exception of 2 or 3, all the photos are candid, copies are unlikely to be found. 11 of the photos are signed by the prominent dignitaries. Nearly all the dignitaries are identified in German under each photo. I was able to identify 8 of the 11 signed photos.
