A unique example of front-line jewelry from World War II. This piece is distinguished by its complex execution technique, unusual for mass production.
The massive oval base is decorated with an applied relief element. The silhouette resembles a heraldic figure, a stylized image of a diving eagle, or the emblem of the Fallschirmjäger paratroopers. The element has deep traces of wear and a patina. Inner side: The characteristic base and traces of the central element's attachment are visible under the shield, confirming complex hand or small-scale assembly. A partially preserved hallmark/symbol within the oval outline is also present. Material: Non-magnetic white metal (front-line alloy). A deep, noble patina and natural oxides are present. Condition: Good collector's condition. This ring is from an old collection, without modern interventions or restorations. The ring's geometry is preserved, the perforations are intact, and the applique is securely attached. Natural wear underscores the authenticity of the piece.
