An Original WW-II German M. 40 Helmet Shell Recovered from a Hedge in Normandy

A good example of a. German relic in the shape of an.

40 Wehrmacht or Elite Force Steel Helmet Shell. Found in a Bocage hedgerow in Normandy. A number of rust holes. And with the liner & liner-band long gone. 90% of its body together with 2 helmet pins still in situ. And overall is a pretty solid & good looking German helmet shell. A great surviving item from the WW-II battles for North-West Europe..
