WWII Original German field gear case and supplies. Wait this has a "TWIST IN THIS STORY". This is American 101st AB medical supply, because it was in a battle 101st AirBorn American In German won a battle.

After the battle German supplies reused for America. As you can see the sticker was placed and American supplies were add. Supplies were hard to get WW2. This set has feel of museum quality. 101st AB have great role in WW2 history.

Just be in 101st AB you had be the best Pilot. Fun history to look up. I mean what battle did they win to get German supplies? I have never seen one like this very hard to find.

Very rare 1944 WWII German cavalry "S-Type" medical satchel. Stamped "dny 1944 WaA 612" above German Eagle, indicating that it was produced by Karl Bollmann Co. This producer used the German military mark'dny' and the German Weapons Office code WaA 612 (though could be 812 or B12, the stamp is light) These kits were made in two layouts, "s" and "k" The layout is indicated by a stamp above the lock that features the letter inside of a horseshoe.

Satchel Contains American materials and has a 101st Airborne Sticker, presumably it was taken and used by the 101st during the war. It contains various period medical materials including bandages, surgery implements, powders, syringes, and two Wehrmacht "Tabletten" tins, though one is unmarked and both tins contain American surgical needles and iodine tablets. Leather is cracked in places, must be careful on touching. White stuff on leather unsure what it is. Delicate fine dust particles fallen off while opening all opening might need a clean. Rust on buckle on the canvas strap.

A lot of unopened items. These Satchels were designed to be attached to a saddle by the rear ring hooks, and could be opened without needing to be removed from the horse. Measurements: Roughly 11" x 10" x 5.

Condition: Fine, vintage condition, as found. Some yellowing and deterioration of paper materials as expected at this age.

Leather carrying case has various signs of wear, one hook ring on reverse has come unattached, but it is included inside the case. A metal closure tab on one side is missing. Leather has experienced general wear, particularly on corners and folding pieces. Please see photos for details.
