German Jerrycan Germany, pre-1945. Ww2
German Jerrycan - Germany, pre-1945. A universal compression canister (Einheitskanister) from 1937, developed by Müller for the needs of motorized units, tank divisions (Panzerwaffe), and supply services of active armies. Original military markings are clearly visible on the sides and neck. Paint and finish: The canister retains its authentic textured paint from the front. The metal is coated with a noble matte protective layer, preserving the deep, centuries-old patina.

Agency stamps: The standard large inscription "Kraftstoff 20l" (Fuel 20 liters) and the "Fuel hazard" marking (highly flammable) are clearly visible. Case (Behälter): Constructed of two stamped steel halves joined by a deep internal weld recessed into the case (an engineering solution to prevent damage to the weld from impacts). The container's geometry is perfect, without through-corrosion holes, large dents, or combat deformations. The metal is strong and resonant. Reinforcements: Classic side reinforcements in the form of a deeply stamped cross (a recognizable, classic pattern to compensate for gas expansion within the container).

Handle (Tragegriff): Rigid carrying system with three tubes. This design allowed one soldier to carry either two full containers (outer handle) or four empty ones (using the central tubes). Neck and lock (Verschluss): Convenient eccentric lever lock with folding latch.

Provides instant and secure closure without the use of keys.
