German WW II Mountain Troops Anorak green white ORIGINAL. German Mountain Troops reversible Anorak late war REAL! German Mountain Troops reversible Anorak original! This is a late war Anorak with original camo sleeve insignia indicating rank of major. Made of tight woven wind proof rain resistant cotton, these were very popular with troops who wore them.

Most were reversible tan to white but this is a medium green to white. Pressed fiber buttons still on sleeves for attaching colored cloth strips for friend and foe identification.

Hard to see the size stamp but is about a medium, made to wear over a regular uniform. Chest measures 23 inches across, making it a 46 (112cm) inch chest and length from neck to bottom of hem is 30 inches (76cm).

Very good condition showing regular signs of wear, all pressed fiber buttons intact with original drawstring. Reverses to white but late issue Anoraks had a white coating that rapidly wore off due to war time material shortages. Last model Anoraks are rare, more so with an original woven camo rank insignia. DO NOT DUPLICATE OR COPY!
