Original M40 helmet shot with a bullet that went right through. The helmet with its own dramatical history that was accurately restored up to its new condition. But the hole from the bullet was kept "as was".

Helmet has rought paint from the outside and smooth inside - as it was on original helmets. One eagle decal is installed.

The inside steel band of the liner is zink covered. Natural woolen band is between leather and steel band.

Springs are coated light green paint over primer of ivory-colour. The liner bears stamp B&C LITZMANSTADT and sizes 62/55. The helmet has SE62 stamp and the head size is 55.
