Luger Pistol Holster P08 and Belt German ally Cavalry. German ally Cavalry Luger Pistol Holster P08,1940s. We offer an Old Royal model of the Bulgarian Luger pistol holster P08 and belt. Used in the Bulgarian Royal Army before and during WWII. At the beginning of 20th c. All Bulgarian officers were equipped with Luger pistols. At the time when Bulgaria was Germany's ally. Most of the holsters were of the typical Bulgarian Royal Army model for Luger pistol P08.

Admittedly copying the German original. The holster we are offering is a WWI model which remained the same until WWII. The Bulgarian Luger holster design changed in late 1930s.

And basically stays the same throughout WWII, except for the quality of materiel and workmanship. The changes involve the style of the flap and the method of securing the flap to the holster body. The flap seems to be more traditional or standardized being shorter or half the length of the holster body. And secured by the brass stud and slit method with a leather strap.

The holster is made of genuine thick leather pressed by means of special technology typical for Bulgarian Royal holsters. Full height of holster 24.5 cm/ 9.6 inches; width of its upper part (not including the cartridge pouch) 16,5 cm / 6.5 inches. The side cartridge pouch is long 14,5 cm/5,7 inches. The belt is made of genuine leather. The belt is total long: 125,0 cm/ 49,2 inches. Belt has a defect you can see in picture number 8. Photos are part of description.
