This is an original copy, published in the field, of the breakout of the 1st Panzer Army in 1944 - the first army to be encircled by the Russians in WWII, The book shows "Tagesbefehl" - Daily Orders. This is the record of what was considered, daily orders and how the breakout was achieved, all under Generaloberst Hube. It belonged to a German Officer - in the Beobachtungs Abteilung - Artillery Observation. A few years ago, I contacted the Imperial War Museum, who didn't know the book existed. The book is in very good condition, binding tight, no tears or repairs. I have copied it out so have a word document version of it (available) for reading, translating, reference etc. So not to damage the book. The book falls under the genres of war & combat, history, politics & society, and military affairs, with a focus on the events of World War II. This vintage book provides a unique insight into the military history of Germany and Russia during the war, offering a perspective on combat, global politics, and warfare in modern history.

Written in German, this book is a valuable addition to any collection covering this period of time.
