Original German Pilot/Fighter Ring by ADLER. An exceptional example of frontline jewelry (Trench Art) from World War II, exceptional in its richness and ambience. It belonged to a German Luftwaffe fighter pilot.

The ring is literally "covered" with historical information, applied using deep engraving and stamping on both the front and back. Shield: A massive square shape. The central area is engraved with the silhouette of a flying fighter (the characteristic outline of the legendary Messerschmitt Bf 109), crossing the sky diagonally. A unique set of inscriptions on the inside of the shield. "LW" is the direct abbreviation for Luftwaffe (German Air Force).

This could be the pilot's personal call sign or an indication of affiliation with a famous fighter squadron (for example, Jagdgeschwader). The metal is non-magnetic and covered with a rich, collectible patina.

The text inside and the aircraft silhouette on the outside are perfectly legible. The mesh perforation is free of tears and cracks. The shank has an authentic, open appearance (characteristic sizing at the front or traces of use). This lot has not undergone modern cleaning, acidification, or restoration-it retains its original, "real" appearance.
