Original German Ww2 M40 Helmet

An original German WW2 M40 helmet shell. The inside is rusted, and this has resulted in a slightly roughened surface. The exterior is in much better condition, with no pitting, and a good smooth surface. No paint remains, but there are the remains of a decal to the right side. Makers stamp and numbers are no longer visible, but the shell is a size 64.
