Original german WW2 military army forestry visor cap Wehrmacht Heer hat
Extremely rare original german WW2 Army Forestry officers visor cap. This cap once belonged to Heeresforstmeister O. Erdmann, leader of forestry at Senne army range. Cap is in the typical grey-green forestry cloth with dark green hatband. It has the very rarely encountered three pipings (normal for military caps, but not for forestry). Hand embroidered oakleaf wreath with metal cocade of army style, silver officers chin cord, the eagle of early army pattern (silvered or nickel plated) - this surely a personal taste of the wearer. Cream coloured satin lining and leather sweatband (has orange padding behind the front part). Maker is Clemens Wagner of Braunschweig - style "Leu-Klasse". Except from the eagle the cap follows the 1939 dress regulation for army forestry service. Cap is complete and in excellent condition - only one moth nip near the oakleaf otherwise no damages.
