Original WW II German Army Officer's Boots. Size 9. Becoming scarce. Berson heels

A pair of original, German army officer's boots from WW II. Certainly from this conflict, and believed to be SS. My husband bought these to wear, with absolutely no dubious inclinations or interest in their provenance. They are in fantastic, wearable condition. They show obvious signs of age, consummate with their use and historical context. My husband has not attempted to polish them up, although at certain intervals he has used a light, leather feed to prevent cracking.

They have also been stored correctly. The leather retains an aged patina that would have been spoiled using black boot polish, however, if you desire that'shiny look' they would buff up a treat. Leather soles are very good. They also appear to have the original, rubber heels manufactured by BERSON of Germany. My husband took them in to a cobbler's shop for an opinion (no work carried out) and the gentleman said they were remarkable for their age and would probably last another 70 years.
