Original WW2 German Canteen (Feldflasche) (#1)

An M31 canteen manufactured just prior to the start of WW2, with a 1939 date on the screw top, constructed of aluminium with a 1937 dated felt cover and leather straps. The buckles and clip are also made of aluminium. It has had its Bakelite cup replaced at some point with a good quality reproduction. Everything else on this example is original, and it has honest wear from use during the conflict. Even the rubber gasket on the screw top is still in place.
