Original WW2 German U-Boat 7x50 binoculars

A very nice complete pair of U-Boat binoculars marked 7x50 53882 blc. An unusually high percentage of the original paint remains together with all rubber fixtures and fittings which are still supple and not brittle. Brown leather strap is compete and not broken and although worn is still useable and not fragile. The lenses are very good and clear to look through with images crisp and detailed. They might require some adjusting on the focus to suit your eyes but these are about as good as they come.

Looking through the bottom of the lenses there is one slight inclusion on one side of the glass but this is completely unnoticeable when looking through these fine binoculars and do not affect the performance at all. I believe this is not damage but the way in which they were assembled. One of the best pairs Ive seen and owned.
