Original WW2 German Walther P38 Hardshell Leather Holster BML43 Hans Römer

Up for sale is a 100% authentic, original WW2 German hardshell leather holster manufactured for the standard-issue Walther P38 service pistol. This holster exhibits classic combat-worn characteristics, and is missing it's strap. The leather has become hard and brittle over the last 80 odd years. The reverse side features crisp, deeply struck historical military stamps. CONDITION: The leather remains authentic and unaltered, but this historical piece shows advanced structural wear due to its age.

The main closure strap hinge is actively tearing and splitting along the fold. The leather fibers at this precise point are fragile and brittle.
