Original WWII German M42 CKL64 Helmet with Double Spliced Liner, Dome Stamp, Strap

Whatever you think you see on the side of the helmet is on top of the paint and not even decal remnants. Fantastic original WWII M42 helmet, size 64 manufactured by CKL with dome stamp. The liner exhibits an extremely rare double splice, where multiple pieces of leather were joined in a material saving effort during the latter stages of the war.

Good condition with some minor surface rust. Leather has slightly stiffened but has not cracked or torn. Drawstring is missing, and the liner seam stitch is coming apart slightly. Be sure to check out my other helmets!
