100% AUTHENTIC ORDER FROM WORLD WAR TWO! PERFECT CONDITION IN ORIGINAL BOX!

AWARDED TO RUSSIAN TRAITOR SOLDIER , FOR FIGHTING ON GERMAN SIDE. Medal measures 50 mm x 50 mm and is of a zinc construction with a gold wash which on the front still retains over 85% of its original wash. Pin back to rear still works perfectly. Case bears a motif of the award, of note is this is a case for the gold award as the motif is gold.

Very nice piece of a rare award. The first class in gold of the Ostvolk medal could be awarded for merit. German military that served within the so called Ostvolk units could receive the decoration as comenmoration when, serving with the units, at the same time or before, they had been awarded the War Merit Cross 1st Class.
