Original WWII German Sling K98 Mauser rifle 33/40 G43 Otto Koberstein

Original WWII German military issue K98 Mauser/G43 sling. In very good condition considering its age.

With a well-preserved diamond pattern embossed on the leather. The leather is in nice shape and supple, with some storage wear and minor cracking from use, but fully serviceable. The sling is complete with a sewn-on steel buckle and detachable stopper (or keeper) that holds the sling in the buttstock.

The detachable stopper (or keeper) is marked "1851 OK" which stands for an early logo for "Otto Koberstein". Please refer to the pics for condition and more details. This is the actual sling you will get. Will work on all German issue rifles with the cut-in stock, including the G41(W), the G41(M), the G43/K43, the MP43/1 MP43/MP44/MP45/StG44 and the StG45 and also the Yugo M. This is a very nice example of an original WW2 K98 sling which are getting harder to find as every day passes.

Please note that the sling is made out of leather that it is over 70 years old and it was used in combat during the war. In our shop, there are different slings offered for different prices.
