WWII Wehrmacht MG34 barrel container. Lost in the store, but not only found again, but also found another green painted one whilst looking for it lol. I'm thinking that this is actually probably a 34 container only, as it doesn't seem like it can accommodate the 42's big milled square end that goes up to the receiver. Price is for the finished in later war Dunkelgelb container only.
The green container is listed separately. Most paint remains, in incredibly good condition for 80 year old combat equipment. The webbing carry strap is also in very good condition. No stamps or markings are visible on this one, apart from a pencil'd four digit number inside the case, which is presumably the gun number, or barrel number.
The dark green container pictured for comparison is really nicely WaA stamped and maker coded "brc 43" (pictures) and even says what it does (Laufschützer) on the tin. If the listing isn't findable, please enquire.
