Zelezny was a part of many army and air force research projects until the 80s. Post WWII he worked as "Human Research Support Program Coordinator" at the Doriot Climatic Chambers (DCC) in Natick MA, with the responsibility of pooling together soldier volunteers for testing military clothing for different weather conditions.
