Rare & Original MINERVA WW2 German Wehrmacht DH serial watch guilt dial PATINA

This is an all-original military watch from my personal collection. I don't care for Frankenwatches and I stay away from watches that have been restored or parts replaced in a mix & match fashion. This Wehrmacht issued Minerva has an uncleaned, untouched, not relumed guilt dial that looks fantastic. It has a 70 year old patina that looks very attractive. The original lume is still present on dial and hands with minor loss at the tip of the minute hand; original Radium, Geiger tested.

The chrome plated case with fixed wires has the most stunning patina I have ever seen on a DH serial watch with just the right amount of wear and rust to make it a rugged piece from WW2. Only natural age patina can look like that. Never re-chrome or re-touch your military watches. Just don't do it!

The crown is also original and has the same patina. The stainless steel back has DH numerals in the correct range for Minerva. The Minerva movement is clean, beautiful and works very well protected by an additional lid. Oiled and inspected in October 2016. Regulator is dead center and can be adjusted if you need this as a daily wear.

Minerva is a highly collectible military watch these days. The crystal was replaced when the watch was serviced.

I probably don't need to say this, but remember that 1940s mechanical watches are midsize according to modern standards, not waterproof, need periodic service and never have quartz accuracy.
