These are the standard-issue 6 \ imes 30 optics used by infantry and officers throughout the war. Maker Code "ddx":Manufactured by the prestigious Voigtländer & Sohn.
Markings: Stamped "Dienstglas 6x30", Serial No. 112270, and "H/6400" (indicating the rangefinding reticle). Original Case: Includes the authentic brown leather hardshell case with the original pink velvet lining and leather carry strap.
The case remains supple and the stitching is intact. Body: Shows honest field wear and patina consistent with age. Much of the original textured "Presstoff" or paint remains. Optics: : The lenses are relatively clear with no major chips. There is some internal dust/light haze consistent with age.. Reticle: : The rangefinding grid (Strichplatte) is visible in the right eyepiece. Mechanics: The center focus and individual eyepiece adjustments move [smoothly / firmly].
