This is an extremely nice and extremely clean military pilots watch. It is easy to own and appreciate these outside of some of the darker history of WWII; pilots were sort of the quarterbacks of the era, technically talented young men usually from advantaged backgrounds. Pilots watches carry around some of that existential cool and swagger.

This Tutima in particular is extraordinarily mint; dial is perfect and patina is even and exceptional. Case is also very very good. Truly as nice a Urofa 59 Flieguhr as can be found anywhere.

Ref #: 215076 matched numbers. Diameter: 39 mm w/out crown, 45 mm w/crown, 46 mm lug to lug. Lug Width: 20 mm at the lugs tapering to 20 mm (will take a 20 mm strap). Movement: Urofa caliber 59 manual winding two register chronograph. Case: BASE METAL upper and STAINLESS caseback, rotating coin edged bezel, in excellent original condition.
