Wonderful Original WW2 German ELITE Officers M43 Field Cap Hat Uniform Helmet

There are NO Hidden or Offensive Forbidden Symbols!! 100% Original, Very Rare WW2 German Elite M43 Officers Service Cap! This M43, Elite Officers cap is made of Field grey wool - Tricot blend, ribbed material. The top edge is trimmed in a Bright, Interwoven, Silver Aluminum braid Piping which indicates the rank of Officers. From the Elite Officer ranks of Oberfuhrer to High ranking General.

Both the front and rear of the cap, shows correct sewing techniques for the applied silver piping. The Interior of the Cap is fully lined with a Ribbed Tan rayon - cotton blend material.

Stamped in Black ink is the size 56 with the correct numeric symbols. The Visor has an internal stiffener, with raised lip on the underside of the visor in the front. Also a single row of reinforcement stitching to the bottom of the forward edge. 2 front closer Aluminum pebbled buttons that are sheet metal construction on the reverse. Magnetic, with original correct cotton thread attached to the underside, again with the correct sewing techniques.

Please see the photos for a close up. You can see that this cap was used for some time before the end of the war. This cap is as true blue as it gets. Pay close attention to the thread and stitching used in making this cap, it is exactly what you want to see on an original. These caps are extremely hard to find. This one is fresh to the collecting community.

I could find no issues with condition. No holes, rips tears, moth holes, nothing. There is however a good amount of dust, still embedded within the caps material. I had chosen to leave the cap as it is, as this is the exact same condition it was when the war was over.

I can not tell if the cap ever had any insignia. It wouldn't be that difficult to apply the correct Elite insignia's, not only would that triple the worth of the cap, but would also be historically correct. This way you will have the time, in hand to make a good decision, to show whomever you like for a confirmation of Authentication.
