Hello and welcome to Red Brick Depot! Up for sale is an original WW2 German ammunition box for the 15 cm schwere Feldhaubitze 18 s. Some red markings are present maybe for special use! Partially paper label is present.

Dimensions: 63 × 24 × 30,5 cm. Historical Note: The 15 cm s. 18 was the standard German heavy field howitzer of WW2, used on all fronts from 1939-45. This box was specifically made to transport the propellant cartridges. Needed to fire the massive shells.

Surviving examples with readable stamps and labels are scarce today. A must-have addition for any collector of WW2 German militaria, artillery equipment, or ammunition boxes.
