From 1939 onwards many Wehrmacht packs were no longer issued. With the in-built Y-strap-style leathers. And merely hooked onto the actual leather Y-straps. Original leather straps, but also has the later. A fabulous issued example of the WW-II German soldier's back-pack. Thick, two-tone horse-hair in situ. And all of the internal & external buckles & metal fittings in place. And so in a great, very clean & complete condition. Found near Bayeux in recent years, this is.
