Demand outstripped supply for these original skulls decades ago, and they have been faked since the guns fell silent in 1945. This example was manufactured mid war, and is die- stamped Aluminium and are much rarer to find. Note the superb fineness of the cranial detailing, a characteristic only ever found on originals. These Deaths Head skulls are one of the most desirable items and are sadly missing from a lot of WW2 German Insignia collections.
