WW2 german eastern front hat Pelzmütze 1944 Ushanka

Original style WWII German Eastern Front rabbit fur winter hat (Pelzmütze / Winterfellmütze). This is the classic mid-war pattern introduced after the harsh 1941-42 winter on the Russian Front. It features a field-gray wool body with natural rabbit fur on the front visor panel and fold-down ear/neck flaps. The flaps can be worn up or tied under the chin. Fur is in good overall condition with normal age and some minor thinning/wear in places.

Wool body shows expected age and light soiling. Some loose threads where pins were removed on front and on side flaps from normal wear.
