This is in used condition WW2 German Elite Troops Black 1st Pattern Peak Cap for Other Ranks. This hat is 100% original but missing the insignia. This hat was shown to Bill Shea at the Ruptured Duck, Craig Gotlieb and many others.

Every single one of them said it was original but that people only wanted 2nd pattern hats right now. This hat is made from a very nice doeskin material that has a few minor moth nips on the lower back piping only. The chin strap is present but of course shows its age. The sweatband has seen some use an abuse and the top diamond is missing.

The sweatband has a name inside but I could never decipher gothic german. The early pattern large label is present with again the owners name on it in gothic German. If you want a honest original hat that has been there done that then this is it. GST of 5% is applicable on all sales within Canada.
