THough this was used on many German aircraft, such as the Me109, Fw190, Me110, Ju88, He111, Ju87, He219, Hs129, and others... This instrument was part of the fighter/bomber oxygen system, and measured the pressure flowing from the Oxygen Regulator to the pilot's oxygen mask.
This was usually located on the starboard console of most aircraft including the Me109, Fw190, Me262, Do355, Ta152, Go229, Ju87, He72 He219, Ju88, and Me163. Made of bakelite aluminum and steel, this instrument is in EXCELLENT relic condition. It dates between 1944 and 1945, and is VERY SOLID, with obvious marks, wear, and corrosion throughout.
It also has the unique features of a plastic lens (as opposed to glass); as well as a plastic securing ring (dating this to mid-1945 or so). I have shown this exact type of gauge in the Me109 and Fw190 cockpits in the last images. A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
