Drinking Cup : Olive green steel enamel cup, stamped MN 43. Cap : Late-war original black Bakelite screw cap.
Cover : Wool felt cover with typical wartime wear, secured with zinc and steel rivet buttons. Straps : Leather harness with all buckles intact (aged but functional). This set reflects the typical wartime production shortcuts: mixed materials, simplified construction, and utilitarian finishes - common for equipment issued to Wehrmacht and Volksgrenadier troops during the final years of the war. Used condition with visible age wear.
Leather shows cracks but is mostly supple. Some stitching separation and holes in wool cover (visible in photos). Bakelite cap and both MN markings are well-preserved. No postwar parts or reproductions - guaranteed 100% original.
Metallwarenfabrik Neunkirchen-Saar, (aka MENESA) 1944. Cap: Original wartime black Bakelite screw top. Red Brick Depot - Eastern European WW1 & WW2 battlefield and attic finds.
