The 3 split pins show some movement. The interior shows excellent apple green paint scheme, with markings for the factory number 3539, with the factory stamp showing ET68 (Eisenhüttenwerke, sized 68). The aluminium liner band shows stamping 68nA/6, with a very good conditional leather liner, showing period ink markings, size stamped 61, retaining the original drawstring. The liner does show some service rubbing & wear, but solid and very presentable.
The helmet is completed with the original leather chinstrap, being unmarked and firmly secured to the aluminium buckles. Overall, a very good large sized helmet, in good condition, retaining all original parts. We list militaria and coins weekly. We provide quality mounted medals, badges and historical research.
