This is an original 1933 Mende 148W shouldered roundtop which has survived the decades. The bakelite body glows with a natural satin gloss and has no cracks but a few chips. Original grille cloth is intact for the most part but two small holes as shown in pictures. Electronically the radio has not been touched so its unknown if it works or not.
All vacuum tubes are present, but front knob needs to be glued back on, side knob is missing, the needle pointing to where the broadcast was tuned into is broke off. Tubes are the RENS1214 and RES164 audio output; RGN1054 is the rectifier. This radio can be used on any standard mains throughout the world. Currently it is set for 110-120 VAC, but can be easily set to 125, 150, 220 or 240 VAC. This is a transformer chassis - so AC only, which is nice, since the radio will play cooler! The photos tell the story. You get what you see. Radio currently has a European line cord and plug You get what you see in the condition you see.
