WWII German Wehrmacht Heer Steel M35 Helmet lovely Original from Belgium Museum

WWII German Wehrmacht Heer Steel M35 Helmet lovely Original from Belgium Museum. This is a stunning complete early WWII Wehrmacht M35 Helmet with a very well preserved leather liner with draw string all intact and soft! The shell is marked Q64 on the side and 4676 on the rear inside. This helmet was bought out of a Museum in Belgium and was discovered in Belgium, near Bastogne where the soldier had fought and died during WWII and he would've fought all the way from Normandy, pushed back by the American Armed Forces all the way into the Winter of 1944 the Ardennes where heavy fighting took place. The rivets are early and due to the use and impacts this helmet had sustained during it's use in WWII, the paint had worn or shatter off until they became totally bare but was checked thoroughly and this liner was never removed or replaced at any point of it's life.

The helmet's color may appear very dark but it's only the leather cream that protects the shell from moisture to prevent any rust of the years in my museum collection, the helmet has a nice darker apple green finish. The "insignia" is complete and very well preserved for it's age and use.
