WWII ORIGINAL GERMAN MEDIC FIRST AID BAG w/ EQUIPMENT. DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this Very rare original German WW2 army Wehrmacht medic first aid bag. Made for and used in the field by the elite forces. Fully equipped with complete period markings.
Made of strong natural leather, with a Red Cross emblem on the front side. It features very well preserved instruments of the well known German medical manufacturers AESCULAP, CHIRON, SCHWERT and others. Contains a set of medical instruments and materials, needed for urgent first aid at the frontline. Individual dressing bandage packs, some date 1942 made in Germany.
Different sizes, for different types of dressing including a Very Rare large pack. Packs of medical cotton gauze Dr. Von Bruns and other - WW2 German glass and brass syringe with sterilizing container - Special medical scissors for cutting dressing bandages and the uniform /and even the boots if needed/ of the wounded soldier - 5 canvas Tourniquets for emergency blood-stopping, with metal and wooden fastening devices, some with Red Cross emblem. German thermometer with protective cardboard box - Boxes of German safety pins for securing the bandages on the wounded person - A surgical razor - SCHWERT - Tin box of hypodermic needles - Packs of surgical needles - Folding medical curved field knife for cutting shoes and boots of wounded soldiers - Dressing forceps and pincers - Tube of AKTEDRON - Bakelite boxes for ointment - Clear glass graded medicine cup - Triangular cloths - Medical test probe set for microbiological samples - Amber glass Drip by Drop anesthesia bottle. Size of the bag approx: 13'' x 16'' x 6''. A very rare piece of WW2 Medic equipment. These bags were carried by the German Elite Forces frontline Medics, intended to give lifesaving first aid to the badly wounded soldiers and prepare them for evacuation, also to just secure and bind up light wounds. Very Rare and highly collectable item in superb condition. German WWII items were destroyed at a great scale after the war by all participating countries.
