WWII ORIGINAL GERMAN WEHRMACHT DRGM OFFICER LEATHER COAT. DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this original German WW2 Wehrmacht officers leather coat worn over the uniform. Dark brown in color, D. Coats like this one were typically worn by the German secret services and the Gestapo. Very well preserved for its age, shows some usual signs of wear and use, (all visible on photos).

This coat is perfect for reenactment or for display purposes. It would proudly take its place in any WW2 collection or museum. Measurements: width at shoulders 20, total length 29. Scarce and highly collectable item.

This coat along with other coats and uniforms were captured in 1944 from the Wehrmacht while passing through the Balkans on its retreat from the Eastern Front. They were stored in a military warehouse that was sealed until recently. Many of the coats and almost all of the uniforms didnt survive through the years and were destroyed. German WWII items were destroyed at a great scale after the war by all participating countries. Most of our items come in original, boxed and unused condition since the war.
