A super example of an early, pre-war 6x30 Dienstglas field binocular - maker marked for production by G. Interestingly, this binocular went back to the factory at some stage during its service life to have the cold weather lubrication'o' marking applied.
Very high quality construction from brass and with a textured black outer paint finish, which remains intact to a very high degree. Also still fitted with the original leather button retainer tab, as shown. The optics still remain functional, yet could benefit from a clean if deemed necessary for usage purposes.
They are complete with the H/6400 Strichplatte rangefinding reticle retained within the right-hand side. A rarely encountered variant from this maker and one that remains in very honest original condition! One of the nicest early 6x30s we have ever had to offer! Many thanks for looking and please feel free to check out our other WWII German optics, accessories etc. Please note this item is also listed elsewhere online and is likely to be removed without any prior warning.
