WWII WW2 Original German Kriegsmarine U-boat Officer / Commander Leather Jacket
A very nice, honest original example of the long 3/4 length grey leather jacket as issued to and used by U-boat personnel - with this particular variant most often seen in use onboard by higher ranking Officers/Commanders etc. This example remains in very nice, supple condition overall with good blue/grey colour remaining - yet still with clear signs of wear with some patch repairs to the leather also undertaken as to be expected from a uniform item that saw wartime service use! The interior is lined with the typical black blanket type material, remaining in very good condition, with rayon lining to the sleeves and cuffs. Rather unusually, the label highlighting the maker, size and date markings also remains intact - indicating manufacture during January 1943.
