The cap is in great condition and shows a small amount of wear in the form of some sweat staining around the inner rim but no tears. The liner is marked in the following way.

Can't quite read the next line but it could be PLYMAN - 16 6G. I acquired this as part of a job lot of militaria at anauction in Jersey disposing of a large private WW2 collection. Whilst the provenance is good, I do not know 100%for sure if this is original as I specialise in hardware rather than clotheshowever the buttons and both badges badge appear to be genuine asdoes the quality and colour of the wool. The pink dots hide the obvious Nazi symbols to comply withebays policy on these matters. Please check out my other items from the same collection.
