A very interesting pair of Carl Zeiss Jena 7x50 Dienstglas service binoculars - as issued to Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery forces. Contrary to the usual rule of any Zeiss produced binoculars being marked'Dienstglas' not being for KM issue, this pair falls within a known small group where an exception during production was made.. Internally, they are fitted with the typical KM Coastal Artillery crosshair rangefinding scale reticule, as well as featuring coated lenses throughout!
The optics still remain perfectly usable and produce a very nice image. They also come fitted with an original leather button tab flap or Knopflasche. A rare and highly intriguing set of Zeiss Kriegsmarine issue binoculars! Many thanks for looking and please feel free to check out our other WWII German optics, accessories etc.
