For sale here is an unusual Long Service US WW2 Army Air Corps USAAF 2 Jacket Officer's Uniform Grouping. Based upon the 7 overseas stripes, heavy ribbon configuration, and the possibility of a General Staff Badge, it may be possible to determine who this belonged to. These were found in the Asheville, N.

This jacket is pictured first. This jacket has ghosting of a round Air Corps patch. The only remaining insignia are the 7 overseas stripes.

This jacket has interesting German style award loops for ribbon bars, wings, and likely PUC. There is minor ghosting from AAC Officer's collar insignia.

This jacket is missing one front button and the belt. The jacket shows soiling, age, wear, and some minor mothing. This jacket has an AH Dondero of Washington D. The measurements are below for your convenience.

Armpit to Armpit: 19.5. Overall Length(W/ Collar): 32. This jacket has a Twill AAC HQ patch on the left shoulder and 7 overseas stripes on the lower left sleeve. This jacket is complete with all buttons and the belt. This jacket has heavy ghosting from AAC Officer's collar insignia.

You can tell that it had a larger ribbon rack and a wing. There is a German style award loop on the right breast pocket that would likely be for a General Staff Badge. This jacket also shows wear, age, use, and some minor mothing.
